Piano Faculty

Piano instructor Assaf Gleizner’s extensive background in jazz includes regular performances in clubs such as Dizzy’s Coca Cola Club, Small’s Jazz Club and Birdland. He has also served as music director for a number of singers and groups of all ages.

Pop and rock piano  instructor Danny Golub’s positive, encouraging teaching style has made him a well-loved faculty member among his students.  His experience ranges from nursery school through the university level.  Danny is also the director of the New York Rock Academy Summer Day Camp.

World-renowned pianist Soyoung Kim has performed in numerous international festivals and recitals, from Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall to the Schola Cantorum in Paris, as well as being the recipient of Canada’s prestigious Banff Centre Artist Residency.  She is a graduate of the Thornton School of Music at the University of Southern California and is currently working on her Doctoral of Musical Arts degree at the Peabody Institute of the John Hopkins University.

Sharon received both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the Eastman School of Music, along with a Performer’s Certificate.

Faculty member since 2004, Monica’s students are top prize winners in national competitions, and have also been featured at New York’s Steinway Hall and Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall.

A master at working with beginning piano students, Nina especially enjoys working with children and being a part of their musical growth.

Through her kind and perceptive manner, it is Nina’s goal to make music lessons an enjoyable and inspirational activity for each student.
